Sequoia is uniquely positioned high above the Leura Cascades with sweeping views of Mount Solitary and the Jamison Valley.
The venue features a beautiful federation style bungalow with an enclosed wrap around veranda, generous high ceilings and views out to the garden and beyond.
In addition, Sequoia offers its own stunning garden pavilion with floor to ceiling glass walls and clear roof to the stars. The Garden Pavilion can be set up adjacent to the restaurant and features an open plan that flows out to the garden and ceremony location.
The Restaurant
The Restaurant is a charming heritage cottage, that is suited to more intimate occasions up to a maximum of 40 guests seated or 80 people for a cocktail style event.
Originally The Leura Falls Kiosk, the cottage was built in 1913 and has historical significance as one of the earliest scenic sites in the Katoomba-Leura area. The building is a local landmark, capitalising on the dramatic views from the escarpment at Cliff Drive.
The restaurant space is bright and warm, featuring an open fireplace and oversize windows that look out to the garden and views beyond. The building features a main room dining room space that is surrounded by an enclosed veranda.
The Garden Pavilion
The Garden Pavilion and can be set up adjacent to the restaurant with sweeping views to the valley beyond.
The Pavilion is a high end structure with black powder coated frame, clear glass walls and double doors that open to the garden and ceremony location. The Pavilion includes dark walnut bentwood chairs, bar tables, festoon lighting and white market umbrellas.

There’s plenty of choice with canapes and cocktails for a more social event, a 3 course dining menu gives that sense of occasion and a formal structure, or a table share menu with roving canapes followed by a communal style menu.
The options are endless and you may wish to enhance your menu by incorporating a live cooking station, grazing table or extravagant dessert station.
